Juvenile plays Abacoa Town Center tonight
Juvenile tonight, a Coldplay tribute Saturday, and what's worth knowing now that hurricane season is underway.
Juvenile plays Abacoa Town Center tonight
The headline tonight is in Downtown Abacoa, where the Town Center has a performance by Juvenile on the calendar for Friday, June 19, with a 5:30 p.m. start time listed. The event page keeps it simple — a live set from the artist — so if you're thinking about heading over, it's worth a quick look at the Abacoa listing for any day-of details before you go. Either way, it's a good reason to make an evening of it around the Town Center.
Town offices are closed today for Juneteenth
A bit of housekeeping for your Friday: the Jupiter Municipal Complex is closed today, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, and reopens Monday, June 22, at 8 a.m. Police and emergency services are running their normal schedules, so this is really just a heads-up if you had Town Hall business in mind — hold it until the start of next week.
Jupiter's 2026 Hurricane & Flood Guide is out
Hurricane season runs June 1 through Nov. 30, and the Town has posted its 2026 Hurricane & Flood Guide to view or download. It walks through tips and resources for the different stages of a storm — the kind of thing that's easy to skim now and very hard to track down the morning a system is bearing down. The guide went up June 4, just a few days into a season that's already running, and the Town is making it available free to read online or save to your phone. Pulling it up while the skies are quiet is the sort of small civic habit that pays off later — better to have it in hand than to go hunting for it once the forecast turns and everyone else is doing the same. Worth a few quiet minutes now.
Busch Wildlife brings its animal ambassadors to The Gardens Mall
A Jupiter institution is making a trip up the road: Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is hosting a giveback with Lilly Pulitzer at The Gardens Mall (3101 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens) on Wednesday, June 24, from noon to 4 p.m. The idea is to shop alongside the sanctuary's animal ambassadors while supporting local wildlife conservation. It's not in Jupiter proper, but it's our sanctuary doing the work.
Sun printing with turmeric at Busch Wildlife
Closer to home, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary (17855 Rocky Pines Road) has a Crafting for Conservation session on Sunday, June 28, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The project is sun-powered botanical art made with natural pigments — turmeric among them — with a little science and conservation woven in. It's an easy morning for families or anyone who likes a hands-on hour outdoors, the kind of low-key activity where the making and the learning come bundled together rather than feeling like a lesson. At ninety minutes it's a manageable slot, too — long enough to settle into the craft and let the sun do its part, short enough to fold into a Sunday without rearranging the rest of the day.
Mark the Fourth: 4thAPooza is coming to Abacoa
Looking a couple of weeks out, Abacoa Town Center has 4thAPooza on the books for the holiday weekend — Friday, July 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, July 4 from 4 to 10 p.m. — promising food, fun, and fireworks. No need to plan around it yet, but it's shaping up to be the big local Fourth of July anchor if you're starting to map out that weekend. With two nights on the calendar, there's room to catch it however the holiday shakes out — the Friday evening if you want a head start, or the longer Saturday stretch if you'd rather build the day around it. We'll circle back closer to the Fourth, but it's worth holding a loose spot on the calendar now before the rest of the weekend fills in.
A Coldplay tribute lights up Abacoa on Saturday
If tonight doesn't work, the Town Center hands the stage Saturday, June 20, at 7:30 p.m. to 'Life in Technicolor,' a Coldplay tribute billed with soaring soundscapes, glowing melodies, and immersive energy. Two music nights back to back in Downtown Abacoa is a fair excuse to make a weekend of it.
Golf Cart Night is listed for July 3 in Abacoa
Abacoa's Golf Cart Night is listed for Friday night, July 3. The series usually runs the first Friday of the month, and the July listing shows evening hours — the page notes 7 to 11 p.m. against the usual 6 p.m. start — so it's worth checking the Abacoa page closer to the date to confirm the time before you roll over.
Food Truck Fridays returns July 10
And the second-Friday tradition continues: Food Truck Fridays comes back to Downtown Abacoa on Friday, July 10, from 5:30 to 10 p.m., billed as the 'ultimate picnic.' We pointed you to the June round last time, so consider this your early reminder to pencil in the next one.
